Gaco Western Announces Appointment

of Eric Zimmerman as VP of Operations

and General Manager

Waukesha, Wisconsin, August 1, 2011 – Gaco Western, the first manufacturer to produce open cell polyurethane spray foam insulation with a built-in fire retardant to pass rigourous Appendix X fire testing, is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric Zimmerman as Vice President of Operations and General Manager.

Mr. Zimmerman takes broad responsibility for the company’s Waukesha customer service, manufacturing, and purchasing operations.  His proven leadership and knowledge of chemical-based manufacturing operations will be a tremendous asset to the company.

“Eric is an accomplished operations leader with more than 20 years of experience in different areas of manufacturing operations,” said Peter Davis, President and CEO of Gaco Western. “He understands the importance of driving efficiency into operational processes and keeping those processes responsive to the needs of customers.”

Zimmerman’s career demonstrates excellence in business planning and execution.  He has strong leadership skills to build teams focused on manufacturing excellence to provide outstanding service to Gaco Western customers.  Zimmerman comes to Gaco Western from Hydrite Chemical Company in Milwaukee where as Regional Operations Manager he had operational responsibilities for all aspects of three diverse manufacturing facilities in the Upper Midwest.

Zimmerman holds a BSME from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Washington University.
