GacoFlex LM-60 offers monolithic, 100% solids membrane waterproofing for all types of structures, including below grade applications. GacoFlex LM-60 adheres completely to both vertical and horizontal substrates, forming a tough, impermeable, yet flexible membrane.
For over 25 years, LM-60 has waterproofed millions of square feet in interior and exterior structures. Around the globe, from the US and Canada, to the Philippines, to Saudi Arabia, GacoFlex LM-60 is relied upon for waterproofing and solvent-free application.
GacoFlex LM-60 contains no solvents and complies with worldwide air-quality standards. LM-60 can be used safely in densely populated municipal locations and enclosed areas.
A: It is not advised that LM-60 be applied to a surface that will be exposed to sunlight. With time, the LM-60 may craze or crack from ultraviolet light. LM-60 needs to be protected from sunlight by a cover, such as earth, pavers, or concrete.
A: Sheet products have seams and overlaps where water can seep in. If a sheet product is punctured, water can run under the damaged membrane and leak out elsewhere. GacoFlex LM-60 elastomeric coating forms a seamless, impermeable coating that is 100% adhered to the substrate. A 100% adhered membrane prevents water from running under or pooling beneath the membrane.
A: GacoFlex LM-60H is designed for application on horizontal and low-slope surfaces. It may be applied by trowel, squeegee or, when thinned, by sprayer. GacoFlex LM-60V will cling to vertical surfaces without run-off. LM-60V can be applied by trowel or spray. These integrated products create a seamless watertight barrier for nearly any shape or structure.
A: An application rate of 4 gallons per 100 square feet (16 L per 10 m²) will yield the recommended 1/16 - inch thick (1.5 mm) cured membrane.
A: Only one coat is required. The cured membrane can then be covered with pavers, concrete, blacktop or a mortar bed for tile or stone.
A: In most cases, LM-60 is applied directly to the surface. Metal substrate does require a primer.
A: Yes, however LM-60 should be protected from physical damage by overlaying with a protection board.
