GacoFlex Construction Thinners

Gaco Western, Inc. manufactures a variety of thinners for use with GacoFlex coatings. GacoFlex thinners are formulated to provide optimum results when used with GacoFlex coatings according to product, application method, or job conditions. Use of non-GacoFlex thinners with our products is not recommended. The wrong or off-grade thinner can seriously damage the performance of the coating.

Urethane coatings are especially affected by thinners which contain water, alcohol, or alcohol-like solvents. These materials severely limit or stop the cure of all GacoFlex urethane coatings. The result can be sticky, uncured rubber with poor physical properties and little weather resistance. For this reason, we cannot guarantee the results when non-GacoFlex thinners are used with urethane products.

Spray Thinner

Fast evaporating for quick dry time. Provides good vertical hold with less chance of sags or runs in the coating.

Regular Thinner

General, all purpose thinner for brush and roller application and clean up.

Trowel Thinner

Formulated specifically to add good troweling properties to U-66 for GacoDeck applications.
