STORAGE

Two years. Protect from freezing. Freezing temperature 32°F (0°C). If frozen, thaw at 70°F to 80°F (21°C to 27°C). If melted to a smooth, homogeneous condition, it is equal to original material. Do not allow material or surface of container to exceed 100°F (38°C). Gelling may occur.

THINNING

Thinning is not recommended under normal conditions. When necessary, A-38 Series coatings may be thinned up to 10% with water, with subsequent reduction in film build and vertical hold.

APPLICATION

Apply by spray, roller or brush. A wide range of spray equipment can be used including airless spray or conventional air atomizing spray. Refer to Gaco Western General Instructions SG-ACRYLIC for spraying instructions.

Clean up with water mixed with liquid detergent. Spray equipment should be given a final cleaning with GacoFlex T-5130 thinner or lacquer thinner to remove moisture and prevent corrosion.

GacoFlex A-38 products are water based systems and require the complete evaporation of water to achieve cure. DO NOT apply to surfaces that are, or will be lower than, 50°F (10°C) within 12 hours.
