Gaco Western Introduces GacoFlex WalkPad

Gaco Western, a leader in innovative silicone roofing systems, has developed a new coating product: GacoFlex WalkPad. This silicone-based, solvent-free, yellow sealant provides an excellent alternative to conventional walkway mats. WalkPad contains a unique thickening agent in the silicone to provide the durability and resistance to tearing that is needed on rooftop walkways, yet unlike conventional mats that must be laboriously adhered to the roof to prevent blow-off, WalkPad becomes an integral part of the roof and cannot blow off.

Gaco Western is pleased to showcase GacoFireStop at the ICAA show September 22-24 in Orlando, Florida. GacoFireStop meets the needs of contractors who want to both save money and keep up with code requirements. With new code requirements for ignition barriers in attics and crawl spaces contractors are faced with lengthy and expensive requirements to apply an additional ignition barrier. Waiting for the foam to cure and applying an ignition barrier increases labor time and expense.
GacoFireStop Receives IAPMO Certification

Gaco Western, a leader in innovative spray foam insulation, is pleased to announce a new evaluation report on GacoFireStop. Gaco Western's GacoFireStop 5500 passed the industry Appendix X flammability test for the second time last month. Now IAPMO Evaluation Service has issued IAPMO ES Evaluation Report Number 0233 certifying that GacoFireStop meets and exceeds the building code prescriptive and performance requirements based on third party laboratory testing. Building code officials and contractors can have confidence in the Evaluation Report (ESR) released today and available on the Gaco Western website: http://www.gacowallfoam.com/halfpoundfoam.html. The report confirms that GacoFireStop can be installed in attics and crawl spaces without the use of an additional ignition barrier.
